In bed with a *****!

I have been a Vodacom for over 15 years and I am fed up AF!

My phone was ****** at Ellispark this Saturday after the rugby and I subsequently asked Vodacom @ Vaal Mall on Sunday to lock the sim.

On monday I logged into Vodacom's website to check on my upgrade status so I could get a new phone. Luckily for me I did that as I then noticed that my bill was sitting at R3500 and it was only the 7th. I immediately phone Vodacom to find out what is going on. The said that I had subscribed to some ***** download service (which I never did) which has amassed R1555 in a couple of days as well as R1450 worth of data. I stold them to stop it immediatley as well as to not pay this ******* company a cent as they can try and get that ********** money from me personally. Although Vodacom claims innocence I know for a fact they allow this sort of behaviour from their WASPS as they get 50% if not more of all proceeds *****elently ******ed from their clients. I have a reference number for this and am waiting for feedback which I am not getting. Ref: 1- ********** **********

No for the second part - I then did a sim swap so I can get back online as my business relies on my cellphone. This went fairly smoothly until I wanted to card to be activiated. I was told it would take 2 hours. After 4 hours I phoned Vodacom to find out what is going on. They then said for some stupied reason, the Vaal Mall staff punt my account in Full Admin Lock which means nobody but they "back office" staff can remove the lock. They logged a service call Ref: 1- ********** ********** abd I just have to suck it up and wait. This can take 48 hours for them to respond and then another 2 weeks to fix. I find this unacceptable to say the least, how am I supposed to do business if I am not able to make or receive a call for weeks on end?

Worst is they cannot even call me to explain what they are doing as my phone does not work.

WHere is the consumer protector in all of this? Is their any lawyers around that can assist in damages claims for income lost?
