Impossible to upgrade!

It seems impossible to upgrade with Vodacom. My contract has been moved from my 'service provider' Nashua Mobile to Vodacom direct and since this happened I have had endless issues. From not receiving any invoices/statements to unauthorised changes to my account and now I find it impossible to upgrade.

I have contacted ********** and ********** 4 so many times I have lost count - only to either be cut off or transfered to a non existing extention as I have now been "moved to the new system" and nobody seems to be able to assist.

I have even requested a few "call backs"....but that doesn't seem to happen either!

AND due to my contract being moved to the new system, I am told I can not upgrade via the vodacom online upgrade facility....!

Being 180km from town, I can't just "pop in" to the nearest vodacom shop for assistance - HOW CAN AN UPGRADE BE SO DIFFICULT!!!!???

Vodacom direct is definately not the answer - you are just another number.

Reviewer Update

So finally someone phoned me to assist with an upgrade.

It is now nearly a month later and I am still not able to use the new phone....the sim has been 'blocked' by vodacom.

I was assured there would be no additional charges to upgrade, but an invoice of R971.15 was charged!!!!!!! I have requested this to be reversed, being told it will take about 7 days. Still nothing has been done!

Trying to get help is impossible, I have been sent from upgrades to call centre (and cut-off) more times than I care to remember!

When did the service become non-existant!?
