Impossible to cancel even though contract ended

I requested my vodacom account to be cancelled because the contract ended. I am no longer living in South Africa and have no need for it. It seems like it is impossible to cancel a vodacom account. This is probably to keep your director's pockets full of money ******ed from the average person. If it is possible, kindly help me close my vodacom account.
