Impossible to cancel a dysfunctional 4G data package - being stonewalled by Vodacom staff

I have been trying for over 3 months to cancel a "4G/LTE" data service with Vodacom.

The vodacom shop at Clearwater mall says I must phone Vodacom retentions, and Vodacom retentions says I must talk to the vodacom shop! I have personally been to the vodacom shop 9 (NINE!) times and had to waste time waiting in a queue every time - and it never gets resolved. I have phoned the vodacom shop and "retentions" uncountable times.

I think the vodacom retentions number is just a front to make it as difficult as possible to cancel. They now say they can't find the sim number. Pathetic, who are they trying to kid???

Even the vodacom shop staff eventually told me just to lodge a complaint on hellopeter. Unbelievable.

THE PROBLEM

1. Got a 20GB data package with router which CLEARLY states 4G/LTE - we specifically asked for this.

2. Vodacom states the 4G service has been activated on the sim number (confirmed many many times).

3. 4G has never worked at home either on vodacom's own router, or the high-end huawei router we purchased.

4. Our cell phones work on 4G at home.

5. The vodacom shop sent out a vodacom technician to test at our house. He acknowledged there was a problem on the vodacom side, since HIS OWN SIM WHICH HE PLUGGED INTO OUR AND VODACOM'S EQUIPMENT CONNECTED PERFECTLY ON 4G.

6. We have used other sim's in our and vodacom's equipment, and it connects perfectly on 4G.

7. The Vodacom shop even tried a sim swap - the SAME problem persists. It NEVER connects on 4G. We also activated 4G on the second sim, confirmed many many times.

We have no choice but to cancel, since the work we do requires a high-speed and stable connection - 3G just does not cut it.

Vodacom has failed to provide the service as advertised on their marketing material, the router packaging and as verbally communicated by the vodacom shop (that this will WORK).

How on earth do we cancel this contract as per the CPA? How on earth do we get to TALK to someone at vodacom who can remedy this problem?
