I'm not worth Vodacom's time

Vodacom 4U (Pavilion Centre, Westville )

Extremely poor service.

I had gotten an Iphone 5S contract phone in end of February 2016. Within a week of me buying the phone it started freezing and having lines across the screen. When i took it back and asked for a new phone they said they couldn't give me one because it was past 7 days. It would be 3 moths before i would get my phone again. Thinking my phone is fixed i took it back.

I took my phone in for repairs again (8 months ago from the date of writing this email) and I'm still waiting for my phone to be repaired. When i took it in it was under warranty. Upon taking it in for repairs I was attended to by a store employee and it was not communicated to me at all in what condition did they required my phone to be in for the repair to be carried out successfully e.g. provide my icloud username and password and to deactivate my FMI. When i took my phone in all that was asked of me was to remove my sim card. i did as they said and i handed the phone in. i was told my phone would be ready in 21 working days. Due to past experiences i had with that shop with fixing my phone, I left my contact number and email address to have them contact me if they need anything further from me.

I came back a month later to pick up my phone only to find out it was not fixed, i was told they couldn't fix it because they needed my icloud username and password to fix the phone. I provided them with the information they needed to return in the next 21 working days to pick up my phone because i had provided them with all the information they needed to get my phone. When i came back a month later now making it 2 month from the initial time i handed in my phone to be fixed expecting my phone to be fixed i was told its not fixed because Find My Iphone (FMI) hadn't been deactivated, of which the consultant didn't know what FMI was. I called the manager at the time and he said he was new and he will attend to my matter. He told me i would not have to pay because when i initially took my phone in it was still under warranty and it was the shops fault for not saying what condition they needed the phone to be in for it to be fixed. He said he will take it back to be repaired.

When i came back to pick it up again, a new manager was in charge and told me the same thing asthe previous manager did, saying he was new and was unaware of my case but from then on he would personally attend to my matter So i started the whole process again. I had received an SMS saying i needed to pay for my phone to be fixed which was confusing to me because i was told that i wouldn't have to pay for any repairs because on my initial date of taking the phone in, my phone was still under warranty.

When i went to the store again i found a new manager in charge and when i explained everything to her all I was told was that I should have known, that i needed to switch all these things off as if i had ever worked at the store or the repair center before. Now my phone is out of warranty and she refused to repair it free of charge because she refuses to acknowledge that the initial date of me taking the phone in for repairs (prior the repair center bringing it in to the store twice on separate occasions for me to provide my icloud details and deactivate my FMI) was within the warranty period. When I asked for the branch managers/store owners contact details i was given the wrong number.

This was a phone that i used for business and ever since I had been losing money. I have 3 contracts with Vodacom and I do not know what is it about me that makes me not a valued customer ?

I got a call over 2 months form the service provider claiming they will fix my problem but now still nothing.

From the time i took up my 24 month contract with Vodacom , I'm on the 20th month into my contract and have been without a phone for 11 of those months but have been paying for my contract the whole time.
