*******ly changing for a contract I have asked to cancel

I want to cancel my cellphone contract and have tried for months to canel it. The contract has run its course and has now gone over into a month-by-month service. I have been trying to cancel it since February 2020. I have gone in-store to try and cancel, as well as called the call centre and cancellations department. I have also sent the call centre emails.

The cancellations department says the number/contract is on the old system (M2 system) and they are unable to access it and thus cant cancel it.

As a consumer, I legally have the right to cancel the contract once it has run it's course. This is ******* Vodacom, to keep charging me and not giving me my rights to cancel the contract.
