******* Upgrade

I am at my wits end with Vodacom.

When I put the account on my name earlier this year (it was on my mothers name), they charged my mother and myself for the same month (almost R500!). I have called numerous times asking for a refund and 9 months later, have still not gotten anywhere despite calling every single month and never receiving any feedback or callbacks.

Then, in July 2017 my contract was coming to an end so I called Vodacom and told them that I do not want to upgrade and that I just wan to be on pre-paid. The lady then told me that I can keep the current contract that I have and only pay R138 per month (thus not upgrading). I agreed to this option, however; when I received my next account, it was almost R500 and not the R138 as agreed to.

When I called Vodacom, they advised that my account was upgraded. I told them that I did not upgrade my account and that I want my WHOLE contract cancelled as I am done with Vodacom completely. Now, 3 months later, they are calling me and sending threatening emails that my credit score is going to be affected due to non payment. I am more than willing to go to court with this matter as I have recorded all calls made to Vodacom.

I will now get a sim swap with another service provider and will never do any kind of business with Vodacom again. Sick and tired of this abuse and harassment!
