******* Sim Swap done on my number resulting in bank account being Hacked!!

<p>My mothers was contacted by a "vodacom" consulted, who has informed her that her number had requested a sim swop. <br />She advised them that this was incorrect. The sydicate, then accessed her personal information resulting her Bank account with Capitec being hacked. </p> <p>How does vodacom allow personal details to be given to make you vunerable like this??</p> <p>I tried calling my mum now and it is some stranger answering.</p> <p>Vodacom, i am disappointed and now i want to also leave. how will i know if my details are safe? </p>
