******* migration of account

I have spent ages on the phone to people trying to get my account back on my name. I have to run around getting an avadavat and signatures and send copies of my ID before they will do anything. Why did the person changing MY account not have to provide my details to do so? They have no proof of authorisation from me that the account should have been changed in the first place. It is clear on the system that this number and account have belonged to me for over 15 years. Why is it that the person that changed my account could do it so easily, but I have to go through all this trauma to get my account back? Vodacom needs to be held accountable for this ******* change.
