******* lock-in of fibre line/Release fibre box
12 November 2018 marks 2 months of fighting with Vodacom over my locked-in Fibre line. I'm beyond fed-up now. My fibre line and box in my house was installed BEFORE your **** sales person came to my house. So no, I DID NOT accept ANY installation from Vodacom. Now you claim YOU paid for the installation of our fibre line and want me to pay YOU R1,725. The Vumatel guy that installed the line said installation is payable to our ISP, which is not Vodacom because I have NO contract (never had one) with you. But somehow Vodacom obtained our object number... (WHICH THEY HAVE NOT YET, AND DON'T WANT TO, CONFIRM WHERE THEY GOT IT FROM - *******Y!!!!!!!) and locked in my fibre line and now I cannot sign up with my preferred internet service provider.
This now has to come to an end.
1) My line was installed BEFORE your sales man pitched up at my house. So no, I DID NOT accept ANY installation from Vodacom. 2) How can you now claim YOU paid for the installation and want me to pay YOU R1,725 for not your stuff/infrastructure - we're suppose to pay it to our preferred ISP (which is NOT, never have been Vodacom) 3) How did Vodacom obtain my object number to lock in my line?????
It's time to de-link my fibre line from your network. Can we please end this now once and for all. I don't speak to your call centre agents any more, no one can help there.
(A) It is not in line with CPA to claim we accepted you installation if installation was done BEFORE your sales guy came to my house. (B) And it's not in line with CPA to lock in my fibre line without me providing the object number to you to do so. You obtained it *******ly!
Nolubabalo seemed to be the one to speak to but now she has also disappeared. And now Lungelo Nkosi (FTTH Sales & Retentions – GP South) also ignore our emails and don't want to disclose how Vodacom *******ly obtained my object number in order to lock in my line.
