I ended my contract in December within the correct notice timeframe. The account was settled in full. On 7 May I received a notice of intent to hand me over to the credit department for an amount not relating to my contract at all. I did not receive an invoice, statement or notificatiin before this threat, which is *******. I immediately called them to clarify. I was told the person whould get back to me the same day. I received no response and called again yesterday. I asked why no one responded yet I could not be given an answer, not to my suprise. I was told that I would receive a letter explaining the amount. Gues what nothing. I do not owe money to Vodacom. I followed the correct procedure and this seems to me like a **** that Vodacom pulls to scare people into paying them money that they do not owe.
