Received a call from Vodacom regarding insurance that I took out for an upgrade.
However we are not using the phone for the number that we upgraded and were advised that the phone would not be covered. The insurance fee is still being deducted off of our account and now we are paying 2 separate amounts for insurance for the same cellphone number.
If the cellphone is no longer covered, how can they still charge you the premium? Kindly cancel the insurance. THIS IS A TERM THAT SHOULD BE DISCUSSED TO THE CUSTOMER WHEN THE UPGRADE IS DONE! Families and Companies switch phones all the time.... If the handset is being paid for, then the insurance should cover the phone regardless of which SIM card is inserted into the phone.
CANCEL THE INSURANCE!
