******* and unauthorised transfer of number to Elite Mobile

My Vodacom contract recently came up for renewal and I originally decided to continue on a month-to-month basis until such time that I felt it necessary to upgrade my handset and adjust my contract.

I however received various phone calls from Vodacom and subsequently, Elite Mobile, offering reduced contract pricing and requested that they email me the proposed details so that I can consider my options.

To my shock and horror, I received SMS communication today from Vodacom advising that my quotation has been processed (1- ********** ********** ) and then subsequently received another from Elite Mobile confirming that my order number (EM- ********** 3-1) is currently being processed.

On contacting Vodacom Customer Care this evening, I was advised that my line had been deleted from Vodacom and was now with Elite Mobile and that I should contact them.

I have not in any way agreed to any such transfer and view this activity as an infringement of my rights as consumer as well as blatant ***** on the part of the consultant who did this.

My long-standing contract with Vodacom is to be restored to exactly what it was prior to this ******* and unauthorised transfer and confirmation thereof provided.
