Good day, I phoned around the 8th of January 2018 to give notice that I am not continuing with my contract because I could upgrade. I gave 30 days notice as required. The consultant on the phone told me that I have to understand that they will still deduct on the 1st of February 2018 from my account but from the 1st of March I will have no deductions as I gave the 30 days notice. I told him that if March came and they deducted I am going to phone back because he told me that the last deduction will be on 01 Feb 2018, in the recording you will hear that the consultant told me there will be no need for me to phone March because he logged it on the system. Well guess what on the 1st of March they deducted money from my account I asked the bank to reverse it and place a stop order which cost me additional money that I am not responsible for as I was told there should not be a deduction the 1st of March. I then phone in and explain to the consultant what the first consultant told me and she rudely tells me that the first consultant gave me the incorrect information and this is not Vodacom's fault. I then explain to her that because the consultant is employed by Vodacom therefore this is Vodacom's fault. I did my part I gave my 30 days notice and now suddenly this is my fault? I then ask the consultant to put me through to another consultant then she puts me on hold and another consultant never answers. This is ******* and unprofessional and I will have to sue Vodacom as per recording there is evidence that a consultant of Vodacom told me that there will be no deduction on the 1st of March therefore the consultant and Vodacom is responsible because I gave my 30 days notice as required.
