I went to Brooklyn mall to apply for a vodacom contract having being persuaded by their advertising as the best network and also having issues with my current contract. I asked them what are the requirements and they told me what they need, i supp**** everything and the application was immediately approved because i'm using a passport and a permit. I gave them my passport, permit, three months bank statement as well as a confirmation of my employment from my HR manager. I went back to check with them on Monday late afternoon and was told it was still pending. only after three waiting days someone called me and said they also wanted my full employment contract. i found this disgusting and *********** because they should have known all these things before making me wait for three days. I think Vodacom should empower and inform their employees on all the requirements for an application. I also wonder what my employment contract will tell them that they havent seen from my employment confirmation letter, three payslips and bank statement. I should however compliment the people in the brooklyn shop for being friendly and willing to help, hope they dont get demoralised by their employer
