identity theft, Vodacom allows ******* sim swap 3 x

Cell phone on a business account. Could not make calls. Phoned Vodacom customer care said I requested a sim swap. I said I did not. I asked who did, she said I can not tell you it will be an internal investigation. I plead with them to find out more and revert back. It should not be possible for anyone else to do a swim swap but me. Second time same story. They just fix it. Third time sim gets swapped and I can not use my bank card. I ask please do not let anyone do a sim swap without my authorization. They agree and apologises for inconvenience and fix the line. Go to bank, bank says they red flagged some transaction but phoned cell number (which was sim swapped) and transactions were cleared.

We have never paid any beneficiary from that account. OTP numbers should have been sent to that number as well as messages of new beneficiaries added. Vodacom is not prepared to help me or take liability. Without the sim swap the ********** would not have been able to withdraw funds from the account. R67 000 was withdrawn from my account, there must be some record of this.

Vodacom disavows liability- their exact words.
