I received an invoice DNL513575 from Vodacom saying that I owe them R1723.93 and yet I don't have a contract with them. I called customer care line and the person who helped me said she can see that I had a contract with them in 2008 and I cancelled it. She also confirmed that it has been deleted. She said she don't understand why they send me that letter. She then decided to transfer me to contract department and they said they can't see this account since it is CBL it has been handed to their legal department she transferred me to legal department. The lady who helped me said she is using two systems on one system I owe them R00 on the other system I owe them R1200 different amount from the invoice I have. She also advised me to request settlement letter or to ignore the letter that I received as she is sure that I don't owe Vodacom. I have been sent from pillar to post and I don't want my name to be tarnished on credit Bureau please assist me
