I won't pay that much, it's ****************!

My cell phone, which I use for personal as well as business use and which is usually loaded with a bundle of 5 gigs every month was suddenly locked last week Tuesday and I could not make calls, send messages or use my GPS. I phoned Vodacom to query this and was told that it was an error and the phone was unlocked (after I'd been on hold with 111 for 20 minutes 3 times in a row because every time I got through to an operator the phone line cut out). The same evening, the phone was locked again. I once again phoned 111 to investigate and was this time informed that there is a limit on my phone which had been reached because my bill for November was approximately R6500,00. Why? Out of bundle data usage. I usually receive an SMS telling me when I am about to run out of data on my phone, and then buy a data bundle of 5 gigs because it is common knowledge that Vodacom takes liberties when you don't do this and charges you out of bundle rates. Regardless of me having advised them that I had not received a notification that the data had depleted and therefore did not buy a bundle - like I do every month - I had to rush to a Vodacom store and pay R1200,00 in order to unlock the phone which I obviously couldn't do without for the week that they informed me it was going to take to sort out the issue. After arriving at Hyde Park and being told they do not accept payments, I had to go to Rosebank where I sat waiting for 1,5 hours because the shop could not tell me the exact amount to be paid, I had to call 111 again to find out the amount (who kept me on hold for approximately an hour transferring me from one department to another). Time is money Vodacom. After calling to follow up yesterday, I was told that Vodacom will only have an answer on 29 December 2016 to my dispute - obviously so that they can debit me for the disputed amount and then make a decision! No Vodacom. After telling the operator that this is unacceptable she said she would call me back at 2pm - I didn't receive that call. Vodacom made an error by not informing me that the data had depleted, therefore I did not buy a data bundle. I want the out of bundle data that Vodacom charged me to be written off. Vodacom has taken total advantage. If this issue is not sorted out in the next week I intend to cancel my contract and sue for the amount charged, interest and damages due to my phone having been locked. How does Vodacom intend to compensate me for having to spend unnecessary time and money in order to correct an error they made in the first place? Vodacom's service and lack of regard for their clients is extremely disturbing.
Ref: 1- ********** 57492
Ref: 1- ********** 58971
