I woke up on 20 May to notifications of transactions that went off on my bank account, while I was sleeping, with Vodapay as reference. There was no transaction on Vodapay, but the transactions reflected on my bank account. I contacted the bank and the bank said the money was paid to Vodapay. Vodapay asked me to send bank statement and screenshots of messages, which I did. After over a week of back and forth, they sent me an sms this morning saying the query is resolved and to take it up with my bank. I contacted the bank again and they said the only advice is to replace my debit card at a cost of R80. My bank card was in my wallet. AT HOME. while I was asleep. What must I do now? It could be 3 smaller amounts now, what if my bank account is cleared and I have no control, yet my bank insists the money was paid to Vodapay? Neither have been helpful
