I was your customer... goodbye Vodacom!

In May this year I was called by a call centre agent who I thought was from Vodacom. It now turns out this is an outsourced service provider to Vodacom who I still can't get a name for!!!

The call started with an offer of 5 GB data for R99 per month. At that point I had no idea that this was for a wi-fi device as the agent referred to the data usage on my phone. I have 2 phone contracts and asked if I could split this data over the 2 numbers. Long story short she explained the devices and offered a1GB and a 2GB for a TOTAL monthly cost of R149. I asked a few times if there were any other costs and was assured that R149 would be the total cost fir both devices!

On 1 August I was finally invoiced for these devices and the reality is that I am paying R242 for this offer. So this is where my stuggle begins... numerous calls to your call center, being referred to at least 4 different departments , to be verified and having to repeat the story every time!! Eventually I was told to call this 3rd party provider because " we don't deal with these queries". I could not get through to them. After many further calls I was eventually told that a call must be logged and it would take 10 days for someone to get back to me (ref 1- ********** ********** ) Well 2 weeks passed and no one got back to me, so I called again. Same frustration as last time! I eventually got through to Jantan from this 3rd party provider only to be told that the voice recording of the call had been reviewed and they are right. I am billed the correct amount. I then asked for a copy of the recording as I am certain that this is not what I agreed to and was then told that I must go into a Vodacom store!! REALLY???

So this morning I went I nto a store and surprise, surprise ... the department that needs to send the voice recording to the Vodacom store is not open on a Saturday!

That is enough Vodacom!! What do I need to do to get you to sort this out?

You really should review who you use as 3rd party agents because this company had just lost you a customer I hope it was worth it? Goodbye Vodacom, your service is shocking and you have yet another very unhappy customer!
