I want my refund.

After complaining and paying for a contract that had not worked for 20 months, Vodacom discovered that I did not have coverage where I was staying and canceled my contract. How come no one from Vodacom was able to pick up that I do not have coverage after phoning Vodacom customer care numerous times complaining about the Wi-Fi router not working? but then again, how was I sold a contract without checking the coverage? I requested a refund by calling the Vodacom subscriber Collection center numerous times, but they are refusing to pay back my money from when I started paying. They only want to refund me R839 claim that I was supposed to let them know the first time I knew about the coverage. I only knew about the coverage when the contract was cancelled. Why was I supposed to let them know about the coverage when they are the one providing the service? They are the one who should know about the coverage. Am I stupid to a point that I will continue paying for a contract that is not working because there is no coverage? It was not my fault that I was sold a contract without checking the coverage. I do not only want the R839 that they are willing to pay me back, but I want all my money back that I was paying Vodacom from the start of my contract March 2023 until November 2024 and the money that I have paid in advance. As long as I still have the energy, I will fight for my money. I will post every week on Hello Peter. My next stop is to find help from the ombudsman or from the consumer protection act.
