I've got a headache and bad taste in my mouth, thanks Vodacom Shop Century City

<p>So my story starts Saterday 02/07/16 where my phone was ****** in the early hours of the morning. Later the day I went to Canal Walk Vodacom to do a sim swap. There I was helped by Candice where I requested to block the phone and do a sim swop . I paid my R20 filled out the forms , DONE. Now just waiting for the sim to become active.</p> <p>Sunday passed nothing happened.</p> <p>Monday morning I logged in to myVodacom out of interest to what my account status etc is. To my supprize my account is not blocked and the perpetrators have been active on my phone for the last 36 hours according to the itemised billing. A quick phonecall to 082111 sorted out the blocking situation and was advised to do some more admin at the Vodashop where I did the sim swap. With paperwork in hand im off to Vodacom Canal Walk for the second time.</p> <p>Get there, block the phone again, get the ITC number(I need to report this ******* activity to the police now), enquire about my sim swap - " It will be done by 2-3 this afternoon". Great!</p> <p>14H00 -nothing</p> <p>15H00-nothing</p> <p>16H00- lets call them, 082111, no sim swap logged on the system, system cant find the replacement sim# registerd on the system, somethings up.Get advised to go back and get a new prepaid sim, and do the sim swap over the phone.</p> <p>This sounds easy enough and getting real good at this driving there and back thing so lets give it 1 more shot.</p> <p>Get there, enquire about the sim swap - get informed theres a block on the sim swap and the only people who can help me is vodacom tech (downstairs same building)- first time anyone mentioned this, but I insist we go ahead with my 16h00 friend from the call centres advise to get a prepaid sim and then do the sim swop telephonically as I was promised this will work...didnt work...no supprise . Call 082111but my 19H00 friend's got the same bad news, sim swap is blocked telephonically. No choice left, off to Vodacom Tech downstairs.</p> <p>Meet my new friend Thozoma, she looks on it but very confused as to why the previous guys gave me a contract sim, but nonetheless, go through the whole rigmarole, new sim (prepaid) new paperwork, R20, done. New advise - to refund my previous R20 from my good ol friends upstairs, for this contract sim they gave me.</p> <p>Get there talk to random guy about refund, no refund, lets talk to a manager, no manager but I can talk to Kelly, Kelly looks a bit more senior so fine we can do this, can i refund the contract sim you gave me that doesnt work and have not gone active in 48 hours and nobody ever mentioned the lock and i just payed another R20 for your guys incompetence? Its important to note that Kellys people s****s when dealing with costumers in refund scenarios is extremely debatable - but her answer remained NO REFUNDS! In no mood for more drama and a bigger headache I lay down my refund sword and call it a day.</p> <p>So at the end of the day Im shorting R20, which is not much but in principle it should be refunded, right?</p> <p>Why Candice, Random #1 nor my 16h00 operator didnt pick up on the sim swap block only they'll know, maybe it was to teach me a life lesson in patience?</p> <p>But thanks again to all the friendly staff at VODACOM SHOP CENTURY CITY, and especially Kelly for the great sevice.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
