I now owe R11 000 even though i never received my upgrade

On 17 January 2017 I upgraded my contract to an iPhone 7 on uchoose 200 using the MyVodacom Website.

I never received a device and was invoiced for this device anyway.

After taking it up with Vodacom (after hours of different departments and even driving down to Vodaworld) I was told there will be a device sent and I will receive credit.

After months (now October) of requests and small credits nothing changed and I eventually spoke with "the right department" the upgrade was finally reversed, however now due to non payment my contract was cancelled.

The legal department advised me that I was being invoiced R1791.41 every month and therefore owe Vodacom over R11 000. THIS IS CLEARLY NOT RIGHT.

My upgraded contract was R688.49 of which R420.00 was the device. therefore I was only supposed to be charged R270 per month.

I spoke to ********** (accounts) then ********** (Cancellations), then ********** (Legal Dept.), then ********** (Upgrade dept.) and then 082 178 44 (Online dept.) where I was told to mail ********** requesting a FORMAL SERVICE REQUEST to have this rectified.

I will gladly keep the contract cancelled, but this needs to be sorted out.

What a hellish experience
