I need my number back

I was told to pay up my contract, while my account was suspended and I did that. the account now is fully paid up and they told me that my cellphone number is now deleted and cannot be retrieved. I cannot have that because i have everything linked to that number, my banking, my policies, my job sites etc... I have had that number for over 12years as it was prepaid before going on contract with it
