I lost my faith in Vodacom Job No. ***

I have been a loyal Vodacom since 2004, but that is about to change. On 23 March 2016, I handed in my Huawei Ascend P7 for repairs, at that time I couldn't get the phone to switch on. I couple days later I received a sms, regarding the phone being send back to me. I fetched it at the Vodacom store. After checking the job card the shop assistant told me my phone could be fixed. I can barely read the handwriting on the job card but I was told that BER means beyond economic repair. The job card also states that the LCD is cracked, which I found strange because there isn't even a scratch on my screen. I visited a local Cell phone shop and was given a quote to replace my LCD, after showing them the Vodacom Job Card. When I collected my phone I was informed that there is absolutely nothing wrong with my LCD, it isn't cracked and it doesn't need to be replaced. The problem was a faulty connection from the LCD to the cell phone’s "board". This means that the technician at the repair center didn't even bother opening my phone to try and fix it, it was just easier to LIE and say the LCD was cracked and that the phone is too damaged to be repaired. What a great way to treat your clients particular the ones that have been loyal too you for more than 10 years. This is absolutely unacceptable behaviour. How many more clients have been cheated! I am contemplating just cancelling my contract and changing from service providers, I have lost my faith in Vodacom
