I have been billed for a contract since Nov that is on prepaid.

Good day,

Today i looked at my bank statement and saw the Vodacom is billing me since Dec, Jan 2017, Feb 2017 for a contract that i finished paying off in NOV (24th Month). I am aware of the rule that when you get to the end of your contract term, the customer must call vodacom & inform them that you do not intend to go on a month to month basis. I was pro-active enough to call in October to ENSURE that they dont continue billing me after Nov (contract ending date) as i intended on going to pre-paid. The consultant had only cancelled 1 of my active numbers with them instead of all three as i requested.

The consultant ensured me that all was in order when i called & yet i was still been billed for my other 2. Today after seeing the debits on my bank statements - i called vodacom to get clarity on this - i sat on the call for 44 minutes was bounced back & forth from cancellations to accounts & back to cancellations to double make sure it was cancelled. Where finally they said as of end of Feb 2017- i will have no open contracts with them & that my numbers will be on prepaid. i will still be debitted for Feb. 2017.

I have lost out on R214.49 X3 months which i need to be re-imbursed for. I am not willing to pay for the Feb 2017 debit at all as i have made means to try and make sure that this didnt happen yet it did! i was pro-active enough to call ahead of time before my contract ended to avoid this kind of issue but still encountered it.

I have been buying data for the cellphones since Nov thinking im on pre-paid - & still been billing ontop of that. Please assist me with this query as i dont feel i can pay for the negligence of the poorly trained call centre consultants in cancellations at Vodacom. I need assistance with this as it in unaccepatble i have been a loyal customer to vodacom for years & always paid on time.

Many Thanks Kelly Attrill Durban

Hi,

Please note Dominic at ECCLO vadcom confirmed that i will be re-imbursed since Nov 2016.

I only received x1 payment back that was for Feb 2017 month, what has happened to my other re-imbursments? When i email ECCLO @ Vodacom - response time is over a week. How much longer will this drag on?

PLEASE get back to me.
