I FELL FOR IT _ AGAIN

I cannot believe it - I fell for it AGAIN.

Saturday My fibre signal dropped just after 10am. A number of people in the street were in the same position (WhatsApp group). I phoned it in. Was informed that they were aware of it, and were responding.

Sunday Phoned in again for an update. Was told it with the municipality's fault - they cut the line while working on a water pipe. Vodacom would only be able to do something on Monday. However some folks came back up.

Monday Found the technician working near us around 10-30. Assured me everyone would be back up by end of day.

Tuesday Almost everyone back up. Phoned in and lodged a service request (SR250408-..). Lady said they would come out 'tomorrow'.

Wednesday Phoned in. Yes, there is a technician scheduled for 3pm. But, of course, no-one came.

Thursday SMS from Technical. Booked for 3pm. Around 1 pm, had a call from customer service. Confirmed the 3pm appt. At 3-30pm, called in find out what was happening. Technician is delayed but en route now. 4-30pm .. called again. "No idea whats happening. No update on file"

As I said .. I cannot believe that I fell for this AGAIN. Each call centre agent seems to have their own story just to get you out of their hair.
