I Feel Contractually ****d

I heard from a friend that there is a good deal at vodacom for contracts phones, as was shopping for a new phone. when i went to kolonnade branch in montana pretoria next to the jet store, i was not acknowledged at first but when i asked about new contracts a consultant quickly assisted me. the deal that i signed up for on the 5th July 2019 was a promotion for huawei p30 Pro that came with a psmart 10gb once off data.......

my disappointment was when i did not receive the data and airtimes, the consultant told me that i would receive the 10gb once off data on the 6th July. on the 8th july when i noticed that i still did not receive the data, i contacted the store and i was told that i will receive the data on the 9th.

called the store again and spoke to Linda who promised to contact me back as she is verifying the contract details-to date i am awaiting Linda's feedback

on the 16 July i received SMS'S confirming that my contract is activated, to my shock, i only received 5GB data and not 10 as sold. i am now told about a caller ID that i have to pay for, for my incoming call to show( all incoming calls are hidden, even when i have the numbers saved in my phone).

i did not read my contract word for word because i trusted the consultant will do the write thing, i asked him if i will be paying extra for anything, he told me the only extra i will pay on my contract will be the insurances and top up function(optional).

i need an explanation, i will be with vodacom for the next 24months and i am already distressed about the service i am receiving.

i would have taken the contract even if i had known that i will only receive 5GB prorata and that i will have to subscribe for caller id. my problem is the lack of communication, feedback, transparency and poor service that i am receiving. i feel like i am dealing with a back door loan-shark with a lot of shady business. this is going to be a long 24months of my life.

i want to lodge a formal complaint. please advise on the procedures to follow. i feel like people get away with a lot of things that they need to account for.
