I dont understand Vodacoms policies

I went to take my tablet in for repairs yesterday, it is not charging I was helped by Nicolette at the Westgate Branch she started looking at it and then asked me do you see the green colour there - that is water damage. Water damage vodacom wont fix. Excuse me how can a person that has no technical training tell me it is water damage on a tablet. You want to let customers know that you will not pay before someone with training has even looked at it. Is this how Vodacom does things now. My tablet I got almost a year ago it has never even left my house the plastic cover at the back still on and looks brand new but it has water damage which she sort of imp**** for me to admit. I don't appreciate that. When I give something in for repairs i want it to be evaluated by an experience technician and them telling me what is wrong. Don't let someone put it on the receipt please check green colour - Vodacom have really gone from the best service provider a few years ago to this. I have spent thousands a couple of years ago now a couple of hundred at most because of the service I am getting these days.
