I cancelled my Cellphone contract after the 2 year period and it was paid up in full

I cancelled my Cellphone contract after the 2 year period and it was paid up in full.But now they send me a letter to hand me over to debt.collectors for an amount over R285. What are they up to I will not pay this money!!The Public must me aware of thia practice they are busy with.Thank you Mr.S.J.Odendaal
