I can upgrade to an adverties contract
I have been receiving ads from Vodacom on Facebook to upgrade my contract. My upgrade is overdue and I saw an add that I think is a good deal. I tried to get the deal in the ad, but was told I do not qualify as I do not have a business contract.
The upgrade offered is for a Samsung Note 9 on a contract with 800 minutes and 2gb data per month (Red Value Contract). It is similar to what I have now. The advert is for R999 per month, but when I went to the Vodashop I was told it is R1599.
I was not planning to upgrade yet, but the advert changed my mind. The ad does not say it is for accounts held by business only. It was advertised on my personal Facebook account and I have never had a business account.
The vodacom call center confirmed that the deal that was advertised to me is available and expires today, but that it is for business accounts only. They said it was advertised to me in error and that I can't get the contract since Vodacom is protected by it's terms and conditions.
I just want the deal that was advertised to me.
