I am very disappointed and angry at this hour of the morning after receiving sms text messages from yourselves that are not part of the conversation I had with your cancellation department on 05 March 2022. I went into the your Bluff Durban branch to cancel my contracts due to financial reasons as I had a cut in my salary and can no longer afford to pay my monthly contract. My spouse has subsequently been assisting me with payment over the last few months and I needed to cancel my 4 contracts. After a lengthy conversation with your consultant I decided to renew the *** no and cancel the other 3 contracts. As a gesture in good faith she offered at no cost to add an additional amount of data on one of my contracts that was not up for renewal which is *** I was shocked and so grateful for this and accepted it. To my horror I receive sms text this morning contradicting the conversation I had. This is extremely disappointing as I spent a lengthy time advising the consultant of my financial situation and that I would not like to fall behind in payments as well as I was reliant on my spouse for support in paying the account. The information provided to me was misleading and now under false pretenses renewed my contract without my knowledge. I also received an sms stating another contract was renewed which I did not agree to. This is concerning as I indicated my financial difficulties and vodacom as a financial service provider is ignoring the fact I said I cannot afford this any longer and forcing me to renew my contract. This is bad ********* business practice that must be stopped and placing me under immense pressure as should I fall behind in payments it will reflect negatively on the credit bureau. Please can this be resolved today and be given urgent attention.
