I am expected to pay R2 319.84 that I have not even used.
In 2016 I went to Vodacom gateway to request for my Top up contract to be cancelled,I was told that I owed around R400.00.Even though I had stopped using the number I went ahead and paid it,the gentleman who helped me said I must come back when the money had cleared to close the contract or I can call using the cell phone but since I had lost the sim card and had no intentions of using it ever again I came left and came back after two days.I then go assisted by a petite Muslim lady who was very nice and she was willing to assist me.She said she will log a request for me because I no longer had the sim card or any other Vodacom number. For the longest time I was under the impression that the contract is no more since it was closed. I then started getting e-mails telling me that I owe. I then called the call centre some time last year (2017) and was given a run around being transferred from one department to the other so I got tired and left it.This year I just got a letter of demand stating that I owe R2 319.84.I will not pay this because I haven't use that damn Vodacom number in over a year. I need this to be fixed, you guys must go back to your records and check when last was cell number : ********** 375 was last used and check my last settlement amount. This is a ****************. Today I wasted 45 minutes of my time being Ping Ponged around your call centre speaking to these robots you have hired, I asked for a superior and all of a sudden line went dead and the next thing I was transferred to a survey line. I need an update on this ,you can reach me on ********** 621.
