I am being charged for a cancellation that never was

I app**** for a new contract with a ported number from MTN. The consulted, Ceabata, from Clearwater Vodapartner incorrectly avtivated a new contract with a new number. He then cancelled the first contract and activated the second. I HAVE ONE DEVICE AND ONE LIN. What am I being charged for? Since 5 October, I have bren trying to sory this out. I have called Vodacom customer care who referred me to accounts who referred me to activations who referred me to new contracts. I have 2 escalation numbers from Vodacom and a reference number from tradepartner, who I e-mailed as the store is not interested to sort this out. I even requested the store's code for trade partners so I could call myself. Obviously Clearwater refused. The last Vodacom consulted I spoke to, Farina, was most helpful, but the escalation will take 14 days, by which time more than R11 0000 would have been debited from my account for a device that I have never received. I have been to Clearwater store twice. The assistant manager, Alli MAbaso, has been aware of thesituation since 8 October. He has not provided any feedback and never returns my calls. I even gave him the name of a consultant in accounts, Kevin Naidoo, who said he would be able to assist if Clearwater store called him. Alli never bothered to call anybody, including tradepartners. Dear Vodacom, what more should I do???? I have spent HOURS to try and resolve this without success. Is this treating the customer fairly by passing the buck from one area to another?
