HUAWEI Wearables Global and Vodacom Centurion
I purchased an Huawei Galileo-L11E- Watch 3 e-sim early this year. I bought it through Vodacom Centurion. To my surprise the battery did not even last 3 hours and struggled to connect to my mobile device. I then took it back to Vodacom Centurion. I was left waiting two weeks for repairs to confirm what the issue was. After the two weeks wait, I was told there was nothing wrong with it and I was sent on my way. The watch then continued to give me problems, it would switch off by itself and get glitch's and reboot. I then had to return to Vodacom for them to once again send it back to repairs. Another two weeks went by when I was told they had replaced the software on the watch. This was very disappointing as I had paid for a brand new watch and now have had it repaired. I asked to receive a replacement of the watch as this is not what I am paying for. Vodacom tells me that they have conditions that state I need to return the watch at least 6 times before it may be replace or contract cancelation can be discussed. Another two weeks goes by and I am told to collect my watch once again. Feeling hopeless I decide to take the watch home and trust it to be good as new once again. Only a week goes by when I wake up for Gym early hours of the morning, not being able to even touch my watch as it had overheated and could not even be held. The situation had gotten out of hand at this point had made me feel as if it could have exploded leaving me and my family at risk while sleeping. So I return back to Vodacom Centurion once again, hopeless and very disappointed. Vodacom then advises me that it is out of their control and will have to wait for Huawei to confirm whether I can have a new device. Another two weeks goes by and I get contacted to collect a new device. After collection I then return home and putt my new device on charge as I did the first, complete the set up only to be disappointed once again .This watch then dies after just 3 hours once again!! At this point I am in tears as I feel that this is a complete **** and I am being charged and held to a contract but keep receiving broken devices and empty promises. For the fifth time I return the next morning and this time with my husband in hopes of receiving help. But with no luck I was told that my contract is to far ahead to cancel ( after this option was declined in my early stages of complains) and that it is not up to them to decide what happens to the device. It is Huawei that needs to either credit or fix it. I can not believe that this is happening to me, I have not even had the pleasure of using it and after all this time and patience on my end , I am refused on what is only reasonable .Today I Phoned the manager from the Centurion branch who has not contacted me for updates as promised, to inform me that Huawei has not opt for a credit but wishes to continue repairing the watch. I am very disappointed as I have been with Vodacom all my life. I have never imagined to be treated this way. I am forced to pay since May and have not had anything to show for it. I feel ****** and stuck and everyone in store just keeps telling me that it is wrong but they cant assist me in making this right. How can you even except a customer to pay for a broken device, force them to bring it in until they can not exit the contract. So now I have not only had to waist all this time away from work but also pay for all the trips I have made. I feel that it is only fair to be refunded or offered a new device considering this has cost me way more that what the contract states. It is now November and I still have no product, I have no confidence in my safety to even bring it home and they are wanting to keep me on this journey that leaves me empty handed and disappointed. How long will I have to keep on paying for broken devices and has it not proven to be an unsafe device. This has been the wort experience of my life and I feel ****** of time and money from a company that I have supported my whole life. So now i am here waiting for answers and hoping for better answers.
