Huawei P8 Lite second slot for NANO SIM not workin

I went to Vodacom in Vodaworld to buy Huawei P8 Lite phone because I want its capabilities to use dual SIM cards. I even asked the sales lady to say this phone uses dual SIM cards which she confirmed. it then took me long to make SIM swap for Vodacom micro SIM card to NANO.and upon inserting the NANO SIM card I realized it is not working . I went to VodaWorld and was told it is their policy not to sell phones with dual SIM cards. please help as I want phone with two SIM cards hence I was prepared to pay R3699.
