HUAWEI P7 - REPAIRS CENTER IN QUESTION - DO THEY ACTUALLY REPAIR?

<p>I took out a 24 month contract and was not advised that my phone only has a 12 month warrantee. Took my phone to the repair centre as everything was fine except for the battery life. The consultant checked and advised me that my phone is still under warrantee till next year June. I booked my phone just to get an SMS that I need to pay R2 599.20 for the phone. When I called I was advised that my phone had water damage. 1st of all if I knew my phone only had a 12 month warrantee, I will never send my phone in for repairs at Vodacom. 2ndly if I knew my phone had water damage, I will also never send it in for repairs as I know Vodacom's warrantee does not cover water damage. MY PHONE WAS NEVER EXPOSED TO WATER. I know there's a lot of ***** going around, maybe someone at the repair centre exchanged my phone's mother board + battery with someone else's phone, could be a friend. It is totally IMPOSSIBLE for my phone to have water damage. How can you as a customer cover yourself in this matter as you were not present when the phone was opened and I know for a fact that my phone was never in water? EVERYTHING on my phone was working fine except for the battery that did not last for a day. I have been a loyal Vodacom customer with multiple contracts. I want to know what am I going to do when my phone returns and something else is wrong with the phone as I was advised when I called the repair centre that they cannot guarantee the phone will be the same. Come on!! Why are they called a repair centre??? They are there to fix phones and fix it properly not cause damage?? Can someone please call me to give me clarity on this matter?</p>
