How to convert a contract sim to Prepaid sim and keep the number

<p>Good day Vodacom,</p> <p> </p> <p>Can someone assist me me with the following or put me in contact with the right person. I need to cancel my Vodacom account as we've moved to Abu Dhabi. However I want to keep the Sim number active as a prepaid sim for when we come back to South Africa.</p> <p> </p> <p>The contract must be be cancelled on the 17th of March. I just need the assurance that I will keep the number as Prepaid please.</p> <p> </p> <p>Can you please assist?</p> <p>Regards,</p> <p>Andre</p>

Has the contract been cancelled already or will it only go in effect as on the 17th of March as requested. Also do I keep the number as prepaid? This is the important part. Please communicate accordingly please.
