HOW PATHETIC CN IT GET

I have been a contract cutomers with Vodacom for 20 years. This morning, when I tried to make a call, it kept saying "Not registered on network" I have had this issue before and it was usually resolved by re-booting the phone but it persisted. I contacted VODACOM customer care (A misnomer if I every heard one). I get sent from pillar to post and eventually I get told that the service was cancelled and changed to a pre-paid service in September. (Considering that I have bills stating that I am a contract customer dated 1st December this is odd). I am told this needs to be investigated. I am a standby news journalist, and I have already lost one job today because of this. I contacted the CEO's department and I am told it needs to be investigated and they will get back to me (within 24 hours). I also recently complained about their data services. I think vodacom have lost the plot. If they want to keep their long standing loyal clients they need to up their game significantly. The only reason this "review" got 1 star is because I couldn't put a negative 10 start rating on this. When I get told by a staff member this is the festive season and people aren't available, I wonder how an organisation such as this survives. (I know how they survive, if you look at thei data costs and out of bundle billing, they are making a fortune). NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!

Well so far if I was waiting for vodacom to deliver water, I would be long dead. I have spoken with at least three people at Vodacom (Head Office) all of whom have promised to get back to me, but I am still waiting. I think the time is rapidly approaching where I lodge a consumer complaint with ICASA.
