How not to sell a cellphone

During the week of 15 November 2016 I app**** for a contract for my child from vodacom online as a Christmas gift. The whole process was approved and on Sunday 20/11/2016 I received a call from Vodacom and the lady verifies all my details in order to release the package. She tells me it will be delivered within 3 days, so I was impressed with the service.

Monday morning another lady from vodacom phone me and starts asking me all the questions the sunday lady did. I told her I went through the process on sunday and that she can go pull the records. She puts down the phone. Today- 25/11/2016 I have to hold on for 34 minutes, explain my problem 4 times in order to try and found out where is the package. Low and behold- the respons eventually " Mam, you still need to do verification before the package can be released". I nearly had a heart attack - how unproffessional can a proffessional company be? needless to say, I cancelled the order. Hope that gets done.....
