How long is too long?
I upgraded my contract at Vodacom late 2014. I received the Samsung Pocket Neo. 3rd week of using the device I noticed that the phone would die and when it was on it would say that I was not available.
It was our season time at work and therefore I could not be without my cell so I continued to struggle with the phone- I would put it on and then off and then it would be ok for a couple of hours.
In Jan 2015 I went back to the Vodashop I purchased the phone from- to hand my phone in at their repair shop. I waited almost 3 weeks for my phone- the technician at the Garden Route Vodashop said that the parts were on back order. The very next day he phoned me and said my phone was fixed and ready for collection. When I collected my phone I noticed that the back cover could not close properly- my phone was put back together so poorly that the cover had a gap were it could not close. Also within 20 min of having my phone I notice the phone would die again. I took it back the next day and am still currently without a phone- going on 7 weeks! How much longer do I have to wait!? I want a new phone! The 1 I got is clearly faulty- come on Samsung/ Vodacom- is this service???
