How long does it take to do an OBF assessment with Vodacom???

I took out a contract on 23 July 2016 where I was assisted by a guy named Aubrey at the Vodacom store in New Town Junction Mall at Johannesburg CBD. The phone's battery was not lasting as long as it should as it is said to last 2 days according to the phone's spec's on Vodacom Boucher and on the phone site spec's I decided to took it back to the store to advise that the phone is not operating as it should/it does not last 2 days/it does not even last 6hours when fully charged. I was told it needed to be taken in for an OBF as Aubrey stated. I was a bit hesitant and asked how long an OBF without would take, Aubrey said it would take about 3weeks which I asked why is that and he advised that because of them having to have the Handset couriered to their repair store at East Gate Mall, I then asked how about I take it myself to the store in East Gate Mall, he advised that would be better because then it would take about a week or even a few days. Good and well I took to the East Gate Mall to have the OBF done but then they advised at the Vodacom store at East Gate Mall would be taken in for repairs which did not make sense to me to have a brand new phone repaired. I advised that they rather do the OBF which they stated that it would not be possible as the store that I purchased it from needed to send the phone themselves for an OBF and provide me with a new phone. I then needed to take another trip to the Vodacom store at NewTown Junction in Johannesburg CBD which was all at my own cost. The same guy who assisted with the contract activation took the phone and filled in an OBF form which he then advised it would take a week or 2 max. He also advised he would call to advise wether the OBF is approved or not. Good and well he called me a week later advising that the OBF is still in progress as he has not had any feedback from their technicians but he would calk them and get back to men he also advised that the colour I had originally taken is no longer available of which i was fine with. 2 days later I went to the store to make a manual payment as I was not even sure if their payment had gone off my bank account I cannot even make a simple call to their customer care call centre as when I took a contract I had to change my SIM to a nano SIM of which i cannot insert in any phone because it not compatible with just any phone. I am now using a phone that uses a 64K SIM and on a different network. Aubrey still could not advise what's happening with my phone. Luckily one of the technicians were at the store which he advised that their technicians that are doing an OBF assessment coukd not do the OBF as they needed my e-mail address and password which i provided to them. That was the last week of July and I have been calling their store since then but no one is giving me feedback. I even asked d if I could opt for a different phone model/make which Aubrey advised it would be a lengthy proceed which makes no sense but I decided to be patient as it was/is a new phone. I entrusted them with my money but it seems that they're just taking my Moby with no service at all. As it is I need to make alternatives to receive calls. The contract was said to include a once off 5 gig data that expires after 30 days and does not carry over. But how does one even use that data with no phone compatible to the nano SIM? I am even considering cancelling the contract as I am getting no joy. Vodacom I am entrusting you to follow up on this or should I just go to the Ombudsman as i'm paying for a service that I am not getting.

This is my second post with the same problem and I receive the same response which leads to no results. Instead it of Vodacom contacting me i'm the one who has to contact Vodacom to do follow ups. Hopefully my l problem will be resolved within 48hours otherwise I will be forced to get the Ombudsman involved. Please Vodacom, ensure I get a new phone as I believe the one being assessed is no good.
