How hard can it be to cancel a Vodacom contract?

Have moved to the US and have been trying for months to cancel my last remaining services. My daughter, who I gave full written authority (ID numbers etc) has tried at Vodacom Craighall Park to cancel these and been given the runaround, ultimately telling her branches can't cancel contracts which sounds extremely fishy.

The Vodacom website lists NO numbers for cancellations which can be called from outside SA, nor is there any alternative means of cancelling with Vodacom. Obviously making it deliberately hard to cancel contracts.

I was finally provided with the implausible-sounding email address ********** to which I have provided full details an instructions. Zero response.

I am going to have to ask my bank to simply reject the debit order, it seems.

Thank you for responding. I received the email which just asks for all the information I have already supp**** several times, but have sent it once again in the hope that finally some action might be taken. It really is appalling that Vodacom is allowed to not disclose ANY practical means of cancelling one's account on its webpages, it seems very deliberate: no phone number except if you have an 082 voice service, no email, no postal address, nothing. An ombudsman should look into this as it's clearly not an oversight but a deliberate obstructive tactic. Obviously if one wants to increase services, the opposite is true. I'll post any subsequent action here if it actually finally gets resolved.
