How difficult is it to get Fibre going

How difficult is it to get service in South Africa - or to try and get an ISP for fibre. I was with MetroFibre. They were brilliant just a bit expensive. So I placed an order for new fibre with Vodacom on the 14th of August. My application was immediately accepted and I then procesed to cancel with MetroFibre as I need to give a months notice. 2 Weeks later I phone vodacom to ask about the router I have not received. No they will escalate. There is no stock. A week later I phoned again no they will escalate. I phone a 3rd time no the order was never places at the warehouse so they will do it. A week before my cut of. Maybe calls later then i decided to cancel as I am now a week without fibre and vodacom can give me no feedback. Next day my router arrives. So now I phoned to ask ok. I have spend R2k on data to make sure I can work and get paid. I have an ONT i have your router. If I place a new sales order how long will it take. How can it take 5 weeks to become my ISP. I have all the infrastructure and hardware. So I have to buy data for another 5 weeks. You really don't care about your clients? I am losing money. I might lose my job. I have chronic asthma so I cannot go into the office. I have to work from home. But yes who cares right.

Yes because after calling you how
Many times and how many emails you still could not tell me when I will be up and running. 5 weeks after my application and all you tell me every time is we will escalate or we app****. Nothing. As soon as I can I am moving all my contracts to MTN. Do you know how much money I had to spent on data. I cancelled because it is faster to apply with a new ISP then keep on waiting for service from you. Even your answer is not we are sorry. O you cancelled well that is that. Not our problem.
