Horror Show

I thought it would be most appropriate to let you know that your service center ( Vodacom World ) is bringing down

your brand / image.

It was one of my worst experiences trying to do a simple migration and change of contract. I walked into your service center and went through to almost every store with zero help at all.

As I walked into the first store on your left, a lady who sat on the stool, made no eye contact, spoke below her voice and abruptly asked me to make my way down to your Customer service department. There I was told by the gentleman who was a bit too honest, said “ those people are just lazy” “because there is no commission involved, that’s their reason for not wanting to help you”

Well, good to know, but why should a loyal customer like myself have to deal with YOUR internal “politics” and procedures? I then went back to the first store and this time the lady said “ well sir, you can wait but I can’t guarantee a time” she printed a ticket and when I asked for her name, she asked me “why”? I rep**** by saying that I want a name/source just to verify your rules around who can or can’t help with my query.

At this time, my kids were restless so was my wife – we then turned and walked into the clothing store – and then eventually made our way out. 1 and half hours wasted at your center…. And still my query is not resolved or actioned. The sheer reluctance to help or serve is scary –

Perhaps I am just a number and my query may fall on deaf ears, but I want to leave you with the following:

· Service in general in this country is below par

· The few organizations out there that excel in this generally get a bigger market share

· Price is becoming somewhat irrelevant

· All customers want and need is service delivery

· Vodacom needs to employ s****ed personnel to make your brand stand out

· Or better facilitators to train average beings into being customer centric especially if they service face to face clients

· The overall experience when one walks into your center should be overwhelming to say the least

· Who cares about the fancy look and feel of the store when you have no one that smiles, greets or even knows how to assist?

I will try your call center today with the hope of my experience being different and query being resolved –

Let’s pray someone restores my faith in your organization again !!! Holding thumbs….
