Horrifying service from Vodacom Business

I subscribed to a 24 month business contract for a stationary router with 10Gb data per month.

After a couple of weeks issues with stock not being available we finally had the router and could start up the new office system.

All went well and the internet is super fast and reliable. We wanted to see where the data goes though and I started to go onto the myvodacom.co.za website to register for the business portal. I wasn't able to register there and I phoned the vodacom call center. There I was told to contact the ********** number for the vodacom business call center as we are registerd as a business customer. I contacted this number and was put through to the normal call center every single time. There someone always said to me that I must phone the ********** number and again.....I get put through to the normal call center. Eventually I reported this as a probelm and it was escalated. I was then transferred to the business call center.

At the business call centre - in October of 2016 - I was told that I can not register online for a password and username for the business portal. I need to apply to register by sending a request by email with the appropriate company paper work. I did this and I received a username and password....which allowed me to log into the background of the vodacom business portal....so basically I would've been able to change html on the site if I wanted to. So I reported this and waited.....a long time...being told that the problem is being attended to.

Eventually I was contacted by the IT department on a day that I was at the dr. for a kidney infection - so I was feeling exceptionally horrible and while the IT guy explained to me that I was given the wrong info and that he will be able to help me; I said; ****! out of frustration, and after a bit of a silence. the line went dead. I was never contacted again and I thought I'd just leave it. This was nearing the middle of October 2016.

At the start of 2017 we realized that the data in the office is going somewhere where it shouldn't be. So my director instructed me to get itemized billing for the data. I contacted the business call center....and ended up in the normal call center again. I asked to be transferred to the appropriate call center and I spoke to someone there who arranged the itemized billing. The itemized billing came with the monthly invoice and it's absolutely useless. It's basically a date, and then it says: internet used. No inclination of how much data is used per day.

So I decided to try and contact the business call center again to be able to register on the business portal. This portal is starting to sound like the be all and end all as everyone in the business call center promises me that this is where I'll be able to see the details of the data usage.

So in the start of February 2017 I started by trying to reigster online. Again I wasn't able to. I put in all the company details and I kept on getting the message that our company registration number or our account number is incorrect. I phoned the ********** business call center - ended up in the normal call center - transferred to business call center where a lady was exceptionally awesome and heped me while I was trying to do this online. She eventually figured out that I had to drop the last two letters/digits (I can't remember exactly) from our account number and this allowed me to press the enter button and submit the form. The website then redirected to a page saying I was sucsessfull in my request and a username and password will be sent to me shortly.

I still have not received a username and password a couple of days later and decided to contact the ********** business call center - got redirected to the normal call center - was transferred to the business departement. Where I was assisted by a wonderfull lady. She tried to find our account on the business department and she couldn't find our account. She then said it was strange that our cell number for the router started with an 076 as it should be an 082 because it's a business. She then after a system search on her side said to me that I should phone the business call center. I then started to lose my mind and she said that she'll help me by staying on the line in a conference call to the business call center.

She contacted the business call center where the operator didn't listen to my story. He instruced me to click on the forgot password icon on the website...all sorts of different things. Eventually the lady on the other call on the line intervened. They kept on telling me to do things that I have already done.

I was then given a reference number and told that this will be reported and that this will be escalated. I gave them the number that they needed to contact me on as the cell number they have there for the contract is essentially a sim card, in the stationary router.

I logged into the IP address of the stationary router and I saw there was an sms. It was a missed call notification from Vodacom.

Our bookeeper then told me yesterday that suddenly our business contract, is listed on the director's private cell phone contract as one item.

It is now the 17th of February 2017. No-one has contacted me. Various phone calls has been made in the last 24 hours as well. I have emailed the origional person who sent me the incorrect password in the first place. Received a read receipt and still nothing has happened.
