Horrific service! No communication!
I decided to migrate from Cell C to Vodacom, disaster!Bought Sim from Vodacom N1 City, to migrate number, but it would not work. Wasted many many hours and airtime on calls to service centre, only to found out that they sold me a pre- rica sim card (I am wondering if this is legal!). Manager was very rude. Went to another store to buy new sim card. Did migration. Then app**** for new contract and was approved. Ordered phone on 3 October. According to consultant delivery was meant to be on 4 th or 5th. Phoned on the 5th, sent from pillar to post to then be told delivery 6th or 9th. Phoned again on the 11 th, once again sent from pillar to post. Spoke with Xoliwe Khulu who said that it was still at the warehouse and had not been dispatched. She would contact warehouse and promised to immediately call back. Still waiting for call. When I called to speak with her today she was not available, spoke to team leader, once again placed on hold for forever. Thembi Nkosi then said that the phone was still at warehouse and that there was a RICA problem? How is this possible I was told from the onset that Rica would be done once the phone was delivered and I provided copies of ID and proof of residence? Phone could possibly be delivered 13 or 16th. I purchased phone online for the type of phone I was looking for as well as the the delivery period. Thembi said there was no guarantee that phone would be delivered 13th. Hence I requested cancellation. I also requested an e-mail in writing to indicate cancellation......no surprise, still waiting. Has it been cancelled or not? Vodacom staff are exceptionally rude, incompetant, cannot spell, really should get better training!
