Horrific Service from Vodacom

I was during December suddenly suprised with an upgrade on one of my contracts with Vodacom. I recieved an sms and contacted Vodacom and was adviced it was for a IPhone, for a person I do not know and for and to be delivered to adress in van Dyk park Boskburg. I stopped the delivery and canceled the upgrade via their phone service. With a suprise I found out that nothing has been done, but that Vodacom require from me an affidavid that I never agreed to the upgrade. I whent to one of their Vodacom shops and was assisted bu a fine gentleman named Dayle in Colidon Cape Town. I tried to explaine to Vodacom tthe problem, but they insist on an affidavid. I submitted a blacklist for the phone and informed them to stop the upgrade, we use that contract exclusively for data perposes. But as stubern as Vodacom can be they still resort for an affidavid. I requisted them before i submit the affidavid, that they must provide me with proof that I required an upgrade. Till this date they refuse and say I must first provide them with an affidavid! What utter nonsence is it, why should I provide the mighty Vodacom with an affidavid for a process they have followed without my concent in the first place!

Vodacom only told you they will make contact, they did and still nothing, I provided them with 6 sinitures, they requires three, but I was informed that it was an online upgrade. They required ID, I provided it to them ebven though they have several copy's of my ID. They required an affidavid, I provided one to them that I have done before a Commissioner of Outh, then they required one done in a police station. Eventialy they agreed by email, but when i enquired they informed me that they have not rcieved the required documentatuion! But in the mean time Vodacom charge me about R1000 per month for I phone I have stopped before it could be delivered and the refuse to check if someone inside of Vodacom have not done the upgrade!

Vodacom, what a Bunch of losers, even after a promise by email to resolve this matter between three and five days, it is still not resolved. Now they want to refund me just R1650 plus vat, not the R1 200 plus vat they charged me for data, after a migration that they have not done, not the R60 I had to pay because they have upgraded the contract without my concent to someone I do not know! I must now again wait 24 to 72 hours, for them to correct agin there mistakes. I was informed by a Vodacom staff member yesterday, that he can not reach the staff in the back office! Maybe that is the problem, there is no staff in the back office! What a bunch of losers!

Its now 8 day after the fisrts promise to fix and It is now 120 Hours that lapsed after Vodacom has agreed a second time to fix the Illigal Upgrade in full, pay back all the amounts owning, just over R4000 in my Bank account. But nothing has been paid in my account yet, they ignore Hallo Peter, to whom I paid extra to get it resolved, they ignore the fact that I reported them to the National Concumer Council. They ignore the fact that there is several clients that I have picked up on their Twiiter and Facebook accounts expieriencing the smae problem. Vodacom is like the ANC Government falling appart!
