Horrific Call Centre Customer Service

I am a Red Advantage client at Vodacom and been a loyal customer over the past decade.

I had run into an issue resulting in my account being a month in arrears and my services were suspended. This was due to my claims from my company only being paid after invoice date. On the 25th of July I brought my account up to date and contacted the call centre and made arrangements for my debit order date to be changed to one that will not result in this occuring again. I also received an sms saying that all my services had been reconnected and this was indeed the case.

At this point two of my contracts were already due for an upgrade however I could not perform the upgrades online as the status of my account still reflected "In Arrears".

I contacted the call centre on the 26th July again and explained my scenario and they advised that I should wait 7 hours for this to arrears status to clear.

Three days later due to the error still showing, I re contacted the call centre and they advised I should wait another 2 hours due to challenges on the system. The issue was still not resolved and I made contact again this morning only to be informed that my account was still in arrears although I had changed the debot order dates and my outstanding balance had reflected R0.00 although still in arrears...(Go Figure). I spoke to numerous agents and eventially to a team leader whom was very rude and refused to hear my case and said that I was still in arrears for the new month although my debit order date had been changed. I tried to explain that I had been in contact repeatedly with the call centre and this was all done before the new invoices were available and I had attempted to do the upgrades prior to this and got the wait "x" hours feedback.

Them not clearing my status in a timely fashion resulted in me still not able to complete my upgrades online and my profile is still incorrect. I have requested feedback and call backs from the call centre but neither occured and the help I got was nothing short of disgusting.

Vodacom need to get their systems in order to reflect current statuses of the customer online profiles and not give their customers the run around but rather tackle issues directly instead of pushing us from pillar to post. The fact that I had to always call in and no follow ups were performed is also worth mention.

Extremely dissatisfied!!!

Mr J Baijnath

Hi UW
This query resolution has been short lived and I am back to the same issue and my online profile is reflecting the same messages again. Also the discussed discounts and so forth seem to have been re added to my current bill.
Can you please re look at this and provide feedback as soon as possible as this is becoming frustrating?
Temorary resolutions are not resolutions!!!
Kindest Regards
Mr J Baijnath
