Horrible service and poor customer service/support

About 6 months ago, I ordered a contract online. With each point of contact requested that I want my existing number to be converted to the new contract number. Two days after taking delivery of the mobile device I was informed that I was issued with a new contract number. I advised that this is contrary to what I requested and requested cancellation. The device was collected a couple days later. My account was still debited with the activation fee and monthly subscription. After numerous requests to credit my account, the matter was finally resolved. About 2 or 3 months ago, my airtime was missing. I was advised through the call centre that a number of other customers were experiencing the same issue. I received an SMS a few days later advising that the onus is on me to monitor my usage but as a gesture of good faith I was given R 100 airtime and 500 MB data. Last month my bank account was debited with +R2700. My monthly instalment is just under R380. I reversed the debit order and made a manual payment at Vodaworld. In addition to that, my monthly allocation was not credited to my account and had to request that this is done a day or so after I complained about it. When I contacted the call centre, I was told that I upgraded my account and took an iPhone. I reported this case of ***** because I did not upgrade my account. At Vodaworld I was informed that this may have been a system error. I did not receive further feedback on this matter thereafter but the transaction was then reversed on my account. On Friday I received an sms stating that I owe R 98.75, when a payment was made for my full instalment after 25 April 2017. I contacted the call centre and queried the amount but they were unable to figure out what it was for and wanted to refer me to the accounts department. I requested that the accounts department contact me because I will no longer wait on hold for them to figure it out and I will not pay the amount. On Friday morning I had +- R 160 airtime and 800 MB data. After using my mobile device for two days, my balance on all became zero. I called in and was immediately told that my apps were running and that is why the airtime and data is gone, without conducting a proper investigation. I then asked to speak to someone in the technical department, who gave me the same explanation, basically suggesting that I need to monitor my usage and adjust my application settings. I am aware that some apps run in the background, and I have social media apps, which I do use often. Not the extent of reducing all my balances to zero. I am being dismissed without any investigation being done. I purchased 1 GB data on 4 May 2017. On 7 May 2017 my balance was reduced to zero. My data counter was sitting at 827 MB at the time, and that was inclduing the data used prior to 4 May 2017.

In light of the poor level of service that I have received in the past 6 months or so, I now request that my contracts with Vodacom are cancelled and the cancellation fees waived. I have tried being patient with Vodacom and still took additional contracts despite being treated poorly. I have now reached the outer edge of it and refuse to be a part of this network for much longer. This is not how you treat customers and I will no longer tolerate it. I look forward to a formal response without haste.

I posted this a week ago (with additions in italics) and I only received a response that the message was received. No further feedback was given.
